Dan Prindle is an instrumentalist and composer originally from Manchester,Connecticut.

Dan can be found playing all styles of music, from classical to jazz to rock, on either of his two main instruments: bass or cello. He is also a proficient pianist, guitarist and vocalist. In addition to playing solo performances in assorted venues from rock clubs to weddings, he has performed live with some of the Northeast's finest artists. He currently performs regularly with Connecticut artists RANE, Bill Carleton, Lee Sylvestre, The Suji Faithful, and Brian Jarvis.

Dan was named the Best Bassist in 2004 and 2006 by the Hartford Advocate.  Also in 2006, several artists who call Dan their bassist were nominated for or received awards.  The Brian Jarvis Band was nominated for Best New Band, as was the Bill Carleton Band.  Bill Carleton and lead guitarist Lee Sylvestre were given the award for Best Duo. RANE, with whom Dan has played for nearly eleven years, was recognized as both the Best Groove Rock Band and the Best Indie/Emo Band in 2006 and as the Best Groove Rock Band in 2007.  RANE has appeared in cities all over the Northeast, including Hartford, Boston, Providence, Portland, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, New York, Chicago and many others. They have opened for the Allman Brothers Band, Jerry Garcia Band, Santana, Rusted Root, Tom Petty, Guster and Ozomatli, to name a few. RANE was voted Hartford's Best New Band in 1997, Best Pop Band in 1999, Reader's Choice in 1998, 2000 and 2005, and Best Groove Rock Band in 2001, 2002 (featured on cover), 2003 and 2004.
